We haven’t done this trip in several years but it is a beautiful anchorage adjacent to Cattus Island Park. Even though it is against their rules to dingy to the beach Windjammers have received special dispensation so we’ll be able to walk to the nature center, hike the trails, and enjoy the beauty of nature. There are also many little waterways to explore by dingy. It’s a birdwatchers paradise!
Leave Friday afternoon or join us on Saturday depending on your schedule.
****Make sure to check your mast height as the J. Stanley Tunney Bridge is a fixed bridge charted at about 60 ft at mean high water
Local reports often see ~56–60 ft actual clearance depending on water level
Boats under ~55 ft mast height should be safe
⚠️ Boats ~56–60 ft mast height are in the gray zone
If you’re over 60′ You can always go around 😁
