An itinerary has been set for those looking to participate in the Block Island trip beginning on July 9th.
Many days in Block will allow a later departure date to Block Island should there be bad weather on our planned departure date while still allowing a good amount of time there. If weather is good, perhaps we will leave Block on Thursday and go to Watch Hill for the day. We can decide as the weather dictates and still get to Mystic on time. Most marinas are flexible if there is a small craft advisory on your planned arrival date.
After Mystic we may head to Hamburg Cove, Thimble Islands, and Port Jefferson. We will finalize plans during the trip as they all involve anchoring. If bad weather we could stay put a day, while combining two travel distances in one day.
A dock (or mooring) in Manhasset will allow for fuel, water, pump out, a little pool time, and dinner ashore after a few days at anchor.
